Maura and Matt brought families together from two continents for their stylish and sophisticated wedding at Kew Gardens in London. When I met them at the beginning stages of planning their wedding they told me that they loved the look of my candid black and white photography and asked for the images to be predominantly in black and white. I used a mixture of digital and film to shoot this day and I absolutely love how this gallery turned out. Although black and white film has a strong nostalgic feel to it with it’s rough grain and texture, somehow it remains timeless. You’d be forgiven for wondering if some of the images were taken yesterday or 50 years ago.
